I've never seen anyone that had them for a TRS,just alpha's and bravos. However like daredevil said they are easy to make yourself.Find a gasket to use for a template.I believe there are 3 bolt holes though you will need to drill out in each one.Easy!

Are you talking about inside the boat where the exhaust connects to the transom plate on both sides of the engine? There are 3 bolts holding the covers on mine.Look in the OSO classifieds under Drives and Lower Units, on page 5 there is an add for Mercury Gimbles-Gen ll.The guy has 2 gimbles w/transom plates. There is a picture of the 2 transom plates. You can clearly see the 3 bolt holes especially on the plate on the right!
Mercury did make a cover, part 79430,however it is NLA.You can still get the gasket though, it is part # 27-68483.You can see them at ishopboating.com-click on Mercruiser Diagrams-then"Show Models"-scroll down to 460 TRS-scroll down to transom plate.

I assumed you had the design with 2 holes because earlier you stated it to "Cost 50 bucks for both".Now I realize you must have been talking about a twin screw setup.I was thinking single after seeing the daredevil race boat on your site. I guess we're both correct they made the TRS with 2 bolt and three bolt.Looks like they made the change in 82".I guess the real question here is what design manaze has.

Gentlemen, thanks for your effort to help. It is appreciated much. For the time being I have purchased 2 Fernco Plumbing 3" caps with clamp to go over the existing 3" diameter steel tubes (i assume custom bent and made) that come out of the stern plate and up towards the exhaust manifolds. These tubes connect from the stern plate and rise up about 12 inches and then conncect to a rubber reducer (4" to 3") and then to a 4 " 90 degree piece that was fit to the exhaust manufold with an 8" length of 4" rubber(metal wound wire reinforced) bellows pipe. I will leave the lower steel 3" pipe in place and cap and go traight to the duct taped existing exhaust tail pipes (that penetrate the transom) with 20" of 4 inch (wet exhuast) bellows rubber hose on both sides; double clamping both the exhaust and tail pipe ends.
Where can i post pics that pertain to my queries? thanks again! Mike

Sounds like a plan.I assume that way would work. Those up turned 3" pipes coming out of the transom plate are factory.Usually people would remove those and put a flat cover over the hole. There is a picture on ebay of a transom plate with those pipes on it.If you would like to see if this is like yours go to ebay and type in 150316578240.
