Then fill from bottom, until lube enters reservoir bottle. Snug everything up and fill bottle to full line. After a short run and everything is warm, recheck lube reservoir, it will most likely be down. That is normal after the first run( mine does it every time after a change). Top off and off ya go.

Motion,
you need to remove the top and bottom plugs to drain it. The bottle should drain also. If there is anything in the bottle, is should be checked to make sure it is clean oil not gonk. Drain it and clean if necessary.
I leave the top plug out and fill until it starts to come out. Then insert the top plug and continue to fill until you see it come up in the bottle.
If you are using a pump, let the psi equalize in the drive and bottle before you pull the hose on the bottom plug or it will squirt back at you. That is all dependant on the type of pump you use.
Then like DMoore said run it and keep an eye on it, add to it when it settles down.
I made up a pump kit that works on a 5gal pail with a quick disconnect on the hose to make that hose removal easier.. If you do a search, you can see pics of mine and what others have used. I have a couple left in stock, if you are interested.

Hope this helps.
Dick
