Heres one to wrap your minds around. I have a 94 38 Fountain Fever Bravos 502/465hp. During a routine gear oil change, (I have done it a million times) I pump the gear oil from the bottom of the drive into the bottle in the boat. So i did and i go to start the boat and BOOM BANG CLANG...So long story short we pull the drive and the oil went into the shift cable housing instead of the upper case. I smoked the two bearings on the uppercase luckily no gear or case damage. Am I the only retard that can blow a drive on a trailer or has this happended to any of you guys. My mechanic who has been working on boats before there was water never heard of such a thing??

You got any suggestions as to why my dipstick keeps popping up on big passes? I have a 540 dart motor setup and it is blown, and have a puke tank setup on top. Seems kinda odd that the oil in the pan with no pressure behind it can raise the stick out??
Its not a huge deal, but the boat does require a little wipe down in the bilge after I'm done?
