Who uses what oil in their drives??
 
Has anyone used or use Red Line oil in their drives??.... Heard good things about this oil so might try it out... Whats the best lube out there???

Not to bash Redline, but I've seen a 24 hour test of gear oil in a differential, and the the Redline did not fare so well. Really poorly on the foaming test. Not sure if they have marine specific gear oil but I imagine the base oil used would not be too different. The test is available online.

We picked up Swepco a while back and have had great results. Some top engine builders and marine mechanics wont use anything else.
