Default bravo 1 rotation on 1990 300ES

I have a 1990 BAJA 300 ES w/twin 454 mags. The props currantly counter rotate to the inside, is this correct or should they rotate to the outside? This is only my second full season of operation.

I believe the 300ES in 1990 was later renamed
the 320ES after everyone started counting the swim
platforms.

That being said, I've had some seat time in a 320ES
and it's a poor handling piece when set for inside rotation.

Has a tendancy to fall off the pad.

Turning out was much better, much more manageable.

Thanks for the info. I've never operated the boat with the props any other way YET, so i didn't have anything to compare it to.

I'll second Jay Tee. I had a 90 300 ES for 3 years and they spun out. I tried spin in and yup got squirrly at top end, lost much control around dock, and felt wierd with trim.

Flip them to spin outward you'll be much happier.

water test complete. I have to say, I like the way the boat operates. May have lost a couple of MPH on the big end, but I like the way it comes on plane.

I doubt you'll notice that much of a difference in
speed just due to the fact that it will be much more
manageable, and you'll be able to run it without
the fear of it falling off the pad, as the'll do
when running inward.
