alpha is aplha,,,they did make an SS version a little stronger but i don't think u can find one.

I would fix what u have and first get used to all that ...then step up in a year or 2 to a bigger faster boat.
U will never get out what u put in !!!!!

So think about it and just have fun for now with what u have !!!

Repair for the alpha should be around 1K !!! with all u need .
Call Greg Colabella he can hook u up and may have something sitting there as well.

Hey Slick, where are you located? I have 4 Bravo 1 set ups sitting on the floor now. Complete with HP transom assy's all they lack is the steering ram. 1 set has zero hours on the uppers. Other set has maybe 100 hrs. All gimbles are in great shape. The $4000. is the number for one complete setup plus shipping unless you can come to Philly and get it.

I spoke to a guy today down in tampa at bobbys machine shop or something like that he said he could get me a remanufactured alpha for $800 with a three year warranty.the reman drive is made buy SEI stern drive enginering. This is way cheaper than any other quote have gotten yet .Any body ever use this SEI??I mean with a three year warranty and that price, can i really go wrong
