i looked at a boat today which was a model year 2000. it had a stock fuel injected 502 mated to a stock bravo 1 outdrive. the outdrive says bravo 1 "performance series" on it. if this some better version of a stock bravo 1?

Before they came out with the XR/XZ drives they did some bead blasting to the B1 gears and called it High Performance B1.. No stronger than a B1..

Should have a low water pickup as well.

I thought all the HP drives were dual pick up?
