Velvet Drive
I have a clucth packing out on a velvet drive and I am trying to figure out if I should rebuild it or find a used one...Suggestion??
Or know of one forsale close to St. Louis or LOTO

rebuild it I say or use it as an opportunity to get an upgraded unit from BAM.. clutch plates pretty cheap for the velvet drive/borg warner.
there's a large ring that holds the forward clutch pack together, remove it and seperate the halves and you'll have access to the clutch plates. the reverse clutch plates will be the larger ones when you split the rear case apart.

I just rebuilt one of my tranny's this weekend took my friend and i 5 hrs parts came from ebasicmarine.com you can get the book on how to rebuild it. cost me $200.00 with shipping
