bumped at idle thank god.
boat shuddered for a few seconds but never died. seems to shift fine. kept idleing, backing up and foward for 5 mins or so docking. seemed fine. is there an easy way to check for any damage if i did cause any? no visable prop damage or external drive damage. i can spin the prop by hand easily foward and reverse and nothing seems to be skipping etc as if i lost a tooth or something. should i just run it and hope for the best. planning on a rebuild this winter anyway. tia,, mark

and pass up that great breakfast buffet at the H. INN.???????? catch you at the marina at 9. . still not sure what time friday i have a few things to do friday and hopefully im on the road by 1 or so. i had a weird thing happen on sunday , while anchored i kinda dozed off for maybe 10 mins i heard something fall. i noticed i had drifted about 50 ft and my spool holding my anchor line was empty and just lying on the deck. i guess a did a crappy job off tying of the anchor and it was all gone rope, anchor, chain ... you would have thought after 5 yrs in the coast guard i could tie a figure 8 and a coulple of 1/2 hitches ... i guess not... man did i feel stupid... have to stop at west marine and get a new set up.
