Thanks for the tips. Definitely need to adress the lower pivot on the one housing and will replace the boots at the same time.
I'm tempted to test the transom / gimbal housing seal with trial by fire next season. There are no traces of leaks on the transom, the transom wood is solid, and I have a particular skill at taking something good and making it bad. I'm trying to get this flatdeck back onto the water ASAP!!
