Question on Alpha to Bravo Conversion
I have alpha1 gen 1 drives on my boat right now. Was just wondering if engines had to be pulled and inner transom assembly changed in order to do a conversion to bravos? also do they utilize the same trim pumps? i have old style alpha 1 gen 1 trim pumps (1985). The alphas were running all hydralauic steering so there wasnt even a cable running to the inner transom assemblies for steering. Im going to see if i can use this same steering set-up on the bravos. Thanks for the help.

I would say the engines definitely have to come out. There's no way your going to be able to get back there and get everything sealed and bolts tight. The cut out is basically the same except you will need to drill 2 additional holes for the Bravo transom assy's. Trim pumps should work fine. Steering should also work fine. If it's external steering you will need to get Bravo wing plates. Rams and tie bar should work.
I have everything you need to do this change over. Transom assy's, drives, Also pumps, rams, wing plates whatever else you might need.
