On ebay right now there is a complete "New" 87411 trim cylinder cheap.Less than a rebuild kit.Better act quick!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Genui...item2c51de413b

Also there is a nice looking pair of the new style 47342 with the internal lines with the line set which is worth $100 bucks. $250 for all. Only a day and a half left!!http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/mercr...item4cec1ac628

Picklenjim, I thought those were the older style and the external line units came at a later date?

Thanks; Can't tell if that's just the tube and ram or a complete unit. The $271 MSRP mentioned is for an empty tube I think. I think I'll just rebuild mine and know what I've got ,but thanks-

Ya your right. After some investigation I see they did make the internals first from 73' to 76'. 77' to 93' they list both styles. They don't show a date which they actually went from one to another if they did. I always see boats newer than that with the internal lines. Mine's a 83' and has them. I've never even seen a boat that had external lines. My bad.
