Lower Seal leak?
I have 2 Bravo 1 lowers that Supposely have 10 hours on them ... I installed the lowers and both have a slight leak ...about a cpl of Tablespoons per nite ...I have not run them yet ...Is there a chance that if these lowers have set for a cpl of years the seals would dry out and cause the leak? Just strange that both drive are doing the same thing ....m

make sure that the o rings that go between the upper and lower are in place and in good shape second i would clean them good and see if you can see where the leak is after that pull them and pressure check.

could be ... I was pretty careful when we slid the lowers on and I did not glue em in .....so its possible ....m |
don't forget the tiny oil passage "quad" seal or "O" ring depending on the year. You don't mention the age of the lowers but if there are fairly old they may not even have the oil passage on either one of the upper/lower. Not likely but I've seen that happen ages ago. Of course that is a major leak in that instance.

Where are the drives leaking from? Where the 2 halves meet ? At the carrier?
