I have a 33' Donzi Cruiser with twin Bravo 3's. Can I run a tie bar on the inside and out on the drives?
I would pay attention and keep the drives trimmed the same.
I have also looked into the sidewinder but I really think the external tie bar would be better.
Are the saddle mount ones the style that bolt in with the trim ram???
Thanks,
Scott

As long as the drives are always trimmed the exact same. Any differences puts alot of force on the gimble ring, steering lever, helmut to the point of doing more harm than running w/o the outer bar.

We had a thread going on this topic a month or so ago, and came to the consensus that if you have an external tie bar, you should get rid of your internal one. The internal one doesn't have much lever arm on the tillers compared to an external one, and just causes a bunch of unnecessary binding. Internal tie bars are great for any application that uses internal steering and that's it.
