My Bravo ate itself up last fall and I purchased an XR with a -2 Sportmaster lower. I bought a new 1.25 solid hub. My old Bravo had a brass thrust washer behind the prop that fit on the tapered portion of the shaft. There is no taper on the Sportmaster shaft. Is there supposed to be a large brass washer behind the prop on the Sportmaster? The hub is different and seems to mount the prop correctly without one, but I want to be sure before I try it out.

The bravo one XR drive does not use the thrust washer behind the prop. Also the XR drive does not use the locking tab washer behind the nut.
Minimum torque is 55 lb.ft
Also make sure the props inner hub insert has the black rubber "snubbers".
