Default Drew Marine Steering Stabilizers

I'm looking at putting the Drew Marine Stabilizers on my 242 24' deadrise hull Formula with a 450HP Bravo 1. I'm looking at these in hopes of limiting wear on my steering sytem, making the steering system feel tighter and making the boat track straighter in wakeless areas. Has anyone used these or heard about how well they perform?

I had them on my panther. I upgraded power and decided that it was time for full hydraulic steering so i sold my Drew marine sidewinder stabilizers to offset the cost. During this time I took the boat and ran with no stabilizers or hydraulic steering (just cable steering). It was a Nightmare!!! I use to run over 70 with the stabilizers. Without them it felt like a death trap and I would not go much faster than 50. There are a couple of people on the board that didn't they it helped out their boat that much, but I do not know the age of their boats or the worn components their boats have. I give them an A+

All single engine boats(except maybe those with Bravo 3's) wander at idle speed due to the prop rotating in one direction.

It seems most people that have used them like them very much.
