Default Bravo wear pads

I'm having an issue with the plastic trim wear pad on my drives that ride on the gimbal ring. On the right drive, right rotation, the drive to gimbal clearance was zero on the right side which is the load side. The port drive was and still is centered without issue.

I figured either the helmet or gimbal ring must be slightly tweaked, so this spring I switched out the helmet and all was centered again. The transom assemblies are early HP's and all is tight. I'm also running IMCO boxes.

Upon inspection after 5hrs of running, the plastic wear pad is gone, and the clearance is as well. Now I ran it like this all last year and didnt have a problem, with only the paint wearing off the pad surfaces, so I'm probabally not going to worry about it for now.

Any insight on the issue though would be great, I'm guessing the gimbal ring, but Im not sure since it was straight before running it again this spring??

I wouldnt think it should wear that bad in just 5 hrs , something has to be moving around. How is your lower bushing on gimbal ring is it still there

Everything is tight , bushings are good. Its not wearing out the plastic pad, because the clearance is gone it just knocks the pad off.

Jack, I'm pretty sure its not a load issue. Anyways, Tim been haulin the Haitens around this year.
