Default bravo one yoke replacement

Upon taking out the u joints on my bravo one outdrive I accidently bent the yoke that goes to the outdrive which is pictured in the link below. It is hard to tell on the picture but rather than risking it putting it back together like that how hard is it to take that yoke out and put a new one in there? Do you just have to take out the back cover of the outdrive, take a nut off and that comes off? Also if it's bent too bad will it not let me slide the new u joint c clip on threre? I tried hitting it with a brass hammer and a brass punch to bend it slightly back but I don't think it worked that much and I didn't want to risk it putting the u joints and everything else back like that so I wanted to know how hard it is to take out that yoke? The other picture that I have on the link below is the back housing cover of the outdrive. Much help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! thanks

See that large aluminum nut around the yoke....that unscrews and then the shaft/bearings/gear assembly slides out. Not sure I would risk using a bent/straightened yoke. Need the spanner wrench to torque the al nut back on.

Is there anything else to be aware of such as tolerances or anythign of that nature? or is it just take it off and put everything back on the exact same way?

I believe you may have to torque the 2 bearings and gear to a preload setting, then reinstall as an assembly into the housing, then torque the alum nut. The pinion depth and such should be fine if you just reuse your gears, bearings and shims as nothing should change??? I was going to rebuild my upper last yr, but fugged up the upper casing trying to make it better . So just bought a new complete upper. So my memory might be a little off, but not by much if it is. Been over a yr.

Before you remove the pinion assy, check to see how much drag is on the pinon bearings. It will be hard to tell with the driven gears installed.
you remove the retainer nut with the daisy wrench.. Pull it out, it may bind up, but they usually do come straight out. Remove the nut and the yoke slides out of the pinion gear.
Check for drag on the two bearings.. around the pinion gear. There should be some drag. If not, when you install the new yoke, slightly tighten the nut so more preload is applied. Too much and you will have to push the pinion gear back to loosen them.
If there is a bit of preload on the bearings.. just put the nut back on with Red Loktite (271) and just snug it up to the gear. It will be ok. If it is too loose, then tighten it some. Should have 3-5 lb/in load on them with used bearings.
When you reinsert the pinion you need to check the brass bump rings on the driven gears. There is a + and - on each side of the ring. Align a + over a - and slide the pinion in. YOu can recheck it with the back cap off. There are two lines in the center of the opening that you can line them up with.
