Like I need anymore problems
I was taking off my Bravo X drive and the U-Joint Bellows Sleeve came out. The U-joint must of got stuck on it and pulled it out.
I assume I can just buy a new $5 sleeve and install it. The bellows did not move. I understand it dosent take much force to put the ring back in?
Can it be done without the special Installation Tool?

Have heard guys take a piece of PVC pipe that's the same size a smack it back in. I just did both of my Alpha units, actually with a little soap I could just about push it in by hand.

I have pounded one in with a 2x4 (if I recall I cut about a 1/4 inch off of it), and I have also pounded one in with a lead pipe and fitting on the in that was a similiar size to the retainer....
No idea whether or not you can buy the seperate but I bet you can.

you can reuse it if its not bent up.
I cut a round plug out of some plywood and made a driver with it. You can tap it in like a bearing race also.
