2" Shorty on HTM SR-24

Has any one done this,was thinking about putting on a scx top and bottom but the SCX is 2 inches shorter don't want to mess with spacers.

I know a guy running one, but he also has a imco box on it, not sure if its a neutral box or not. I could find out if you would like.
