Default NXT New Version vs. Old Version

Its my understanding that there are two versions of the drive, both still being made by Mercury Racing. I did a quick search and came up with nothing. What are the differences? I know something to do with the water pickups on the drive itself vs the rake pickup on the bottom of the hull. Any info is appreciated, thanks

The only difference I know of is in the Skeg length....One is an inch longer than the other.
