Default Using Mobil 1 gear oil

I ran a full season on Mobil 1 this summer. I used to run merc high perf lube. Whenever I changed the gear oil with the merc stuff, it was dark like used motor oil, not burnt, just dirty. After this season I drained the M1 today and it looks just like it did when I put it in. Perfectly clean. No changes but the lube. I have always had drive showers. I think the drives are running much cooler so the oil stays nicer. Big improvement over the stock stuff, and cheaper.

I'm going to be using Mobil 1 75W-90 in my drives and 15W-50 in my motors. I've read many good things about Mobil 1 products.

I've been running 15w50 M1 since 1996. Great stuff, and cheap if you can find the 5 qt jugs at Walmart.

Picked up what I could at Walmart. I needed more so I bought a case (6) at Amazon for $48.70 with a $15.00 Rebate from Mobil. Also with Amazon I'm a "Prime" member, so I got free shipping.
