'98 B1 very hard to shift
98 AVS w/600 hr B1's, very, very hard, like stuck hard to shift in AND out, forward and reverse, both drives.
it's just as hard at the switch box with the upper cable unhooked, and the lower cables are new.
had a drive guy say he's seen worse wear in the brass and fork and still work.
i'm lost, just about ready to just rebuild the uppers, thoughts?

I had to change the detent ball and linkage assembly in both of my drives because of the same thing. Mine had even less hours. They shift like butter now.
