What is the easiest way to tell the alpha drive from the bravo drive,I have an 88 spyder with a 454 (was a 330 h.p.) new motor just about done but want to have the drive checked and any repairs done while the engine is going to be out.

By looking at them. The Bravo is huge compared to an Alpha.

The Bravo will also have the sea pump on the engine. The Alpha has the sea pump/impeller in the drive.
