Default bravo 1 lower case(s)

Hi, I have an 89 Formula with the bravo 1 drives.

The boat had electrolosis real bad on the lower part of the lower units; and I want to replace the lower section of the case(s) (The shafts and gears are good...)

I'm looking for (2) of these...

On another note, the local salvage guy had many lower cases, but none with the part number I have...

1656-8865 and 1656-8865-c

Will other B1 lowers work on my uppers?

Does anyone know?

Thanks-Ryan

Mung,
The 88 was a short bullet case. Not sure when in 89 they changed it.
Depending on oiling passages in the old lower, you can match or modify for newer cases to fit. Too complicated to explain. Pics work nicely. Take some pics of the old lower.. If you pull one off, take a pic of the mating surface of the lower, that will tell the story about newer ones fitting.
Hope that helps.
