Default Bravo to XR ???

I have a buddy with a late 90's Fountain with 502 Mags and Bravo drives. He wants to buy a pair of XR drives I own that came off a 2002 model boat.

Will this be a direct replacement and if not what needs to be changed to make them work?

Thanks

The prop shafts are different. So props need the xr hubs. Other than that, it should be bolt on and go.

The gimble bearings may need to be R&R. To the newer style
with short flange .

Sorry about forgetting the bearing. Glad the others pointed that out. It's been a little while since I was involved with this kind of swap, and I just completely forgot it.
