There use to be a lot of drama surrounding Tripple Digits quest for tripple digits. He cut up an Alpha drive put it on a boat that was never built to see 100+mph. From what I gathered he was basically making a suicide machine. Members told him not to, and that he was going about it all wrong. It was a big fiasco for a while. Search his threads in the General Discussion page. (if they have not been deleted)

Is this Tripple digits way of advertising? It seems like every few months someone with almost no post history starts a thread wanting an SS Drive, and immediatly after someone posts a link to his site.

Thanks for the info, I truly did not know anything about this Tripple Digits drama situation over these style drives. Rest assured I am not here trying to advertise for one direct company or another, (Except for the Black Hawk drives I'm still trying to sell over in the Swap Shop forum section for a friend of mine).

Other than that, If you check my past post you will see that I'm just here to try to help spread some of my boating knowledge at times as well.

The only reason I posted the link above is because someone posted the thread below in the recent past, So I read the website and thought it was different and cool, so I saved it in my favorites thinking maybe this info might help someone else out in the future such as somebody with a thread like this type of thread as an example.

Alpha SS drives are pretty hard to find, So I seen that website as a possible option for the OP to consider looking into as well is all I was trying to accomplish.
