If I am reading right, a drive that will handle 750hp, for a little over 9k, with a 2 year warranty....Thats not sounding to bad right now!!lol

Just want to see if anyone has had luck with the drives before I try one.

The owner is also a Pilot,....met him a few times and he is pretty darn fussy about his planes and his maintance program. Third generation pilot......................

Guess it seems to also be a reflection of his work with the drives to
very particular,...very regimented ............

Good qualitys to find now days in the business world.

While the guy may be a fantastic drive guy, and have perfect setup on every drive he builds, nothing is going to make XR gears live very long behind 750hp or more other than luck and a limp throttle hand. The problems with these gears arent due to the case or setup in the majority of failures, they are due to the terrible quality control from Mercury. Until someone builds a better gear for the Bravo setup, plan on rebuilds when running the kind of power you are going to run.

Does the SCX use XR gears?

For a little more Id go Imco but when I talked with them the 2 year unconditional warranty was very attractive.
