trying to verify if this is an HP assm

I was told id it has stainless side hinge pins its an HP. The diff between 2 or 4 screws is age of it. Supposedly later models use 4 screws on the hinge pins

Its an early model HP gimbal assembly.

Why is the U-bolt not tight

Good eye Brian, but still missing a part.

Unsure why they were loose and good eyes are right. Thank. You. Any diff between old style n new style other then 2 vs 4 screws in hinge pins?

You can now use parts from the ITS unit to still use the electric trim senders. Other changes unknown to me. PM MrGadgets on this site. He can help.

Torque specs on a transom assembly anyone?

sac 04-11-2011 07:52 PM

Starting with the middle fasteners torque in an "X"pattern several times until a torque of 25 ft. lbs. is acheived
