http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o39335-en.html on the back of the drives,,,looks like most of the paint is off them,,what are they used for?

They are locks to secure the drives to prevent theft.

Yes Sir, drive locks. Amazing what thieves will go after these days... My idea if they're caught is to fire up on of the engines with said thieves head held two inches from the blade while in drive and then we'll see if he dare tries to take it again.

Or if you want to do the normal thing... you could just call the cops and have him arrested and prosecuted.

Heh, don't we all. Nothing beats a good ol fashioned lesson in why its harmful to your health to steal. Arab citizens know that one all too well, years ago my AF recruiter told me a story of him witnessing a hand chopping from a caught thief in Baghdad...

Those look pretty cool! I had a set of the old style locks and lost the key, so my mechanic beat them off with a hammer and chizel. That probably won't happen with those new ones.
