when this 1984 trs drive that has a male oil fitting... it goes into the gimbel into the female side. i need the female oil seal

SEAL (#26-48443)

this part number isnt the one


is it this one? $82 for this is crazy

That should be the correct seal 26-48443. Part #2 in the diagram.

That other part is the check valve on the back side of the bell housing. That's not what you want.

You can get that seal anywhere. Merc #26-48443.
Also availiable from Sierra #18-0526.

i bought SEAL (#26-48443) and all it was was a flat hard rubber seal. the seal im looking for is soft

That seal 26-48443 is the only seal ever used in the history of the TRS 1973-1993. I don't know bud. Maybe they gave you the wrong seal. Don't know what else to tell ya.
