Sorry for the hi-jack
Is it truly 1/4 inch thick? I would really like to make one up. I was going to order one but I have a bunch of flat stock laying around.
Thanks

91-43579 is the mercury part number for the hose insert tool. You can get the tool on eBay, iboats, sterndrive sites. I get a lot of my OEM parts, such as the hoses and inserts, from BAM Marine or my local mercury dealer.
