powder coating out drives?

has anyone doe this ? and how is it holding up?

Prime and paint. I had a set powder coated, the coating would peel off down to the primer.

It's been discussed on here before. General concensus is it works, but you need to empty the drive before PC'ing & baking it.

I prefer paint. I had mine done at the local body shop and they turned out fantastic.

brian do you think they hold up better than paint ?

Mine were painted when I got the boat and have held up just fine... plus, they're easy to touch up when needed. Good luck either way.
