Default Shortie...XR or Imco

Is there good or bad with either durability or other reasons. Building a new boat, setting engine height for shorties no boxes. As the drives are the last big ticket item( un-paid for as of yet) I'm wonder what the opinions are. I plan on racing with it hopefully. Toughness verse dough rey me, that's the question.
