So we finally got out on the water yesterday and towards the end of the day noticed one of the engine warning alarms going off. Just beeped twice and then stopped for another 30 minutes. Got it out of the water and noticed that the power steering fluid was way low. I checked and couldn't see any leaks around the reservoir going to the power steering pump. My question is if one if the fittings have come lose. Where does the hose connect from the power steering pump to the drives? Is it on the inside or outside of the transom?
I noticed there was some calcium build up around the drive rams of each drive. Does anyone have suggestions if that can be a connection?
I have Latham Marine steering as well so the boat ran great and steered just fine. I just noticed that the power steering reservoir going to the port engine was really low. Any suggestions or ideas????

Never mind found it. There was a crack in the hose going from the power steering pump to the power steering cooler on the back of the engine. Previous owner had the hoses zip tied so they were bent in half and the hose was kinked and cracked on the inside. Come on man, who does that stuff?

Any way crisis easily adverted and hopefully we can get back out on the water next weekend without any alarms going off.
