Yes, I do have the bolt on drive shower. If I have time tomorrow I will pull the plugs and see what comes out. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Ok guy's I drained the gear lube from my outdrive and found no sign of any water.... the gear lube looked just as blue as the new stuff. The magnet on the lower drain plug had the smallest amount of fuzz on it (no chunks). After doing some more research I came across another forum with the similar problem. That person was told to check inside the cap for an O ring and to make sure it was in there. I decided to look under my cap only to find a missing O ring hmmmm. I went down to the local parts store and ordered myself a new cap and O ring just so I cross that off the list. I refilled the outdrive with new fluid and put some fluid in the reservoir and now I am counting the days till the weekend so I can try it out.
Still not sure whats causing the gear lube to become frothy?
