spacers

Can you add a 1" spacer to a stock height bravo 1 or are the spacers only for shorty cases?

It's ok to add a spacer to a stock height bravo.

Are you having a hard time getting on plane with stock?

You can add any size spacer to any Bravo drive. The spacer kits come with studs and a coupler.

Getting on plane is no problem. I raised the drive over the winter & now all the props I've tried will blow out when turning sharp. Pulling the kids on tube(s) isn't working so well. So I'm thinking I may lower the drive down a little & see if it stays hooked up in tight turns.

I’ve changed over to a 5 blade prop & that helped a lot with the water sports performance. The slip with the 5 blade prop is still a little higher @ WOT than the 10-11% I was getting with the 4 blade props & kills any speed advantage of the higher X. So I was thinking if I lowered the drive down .5” maybe that would help lower the slip a little on the 5 blade or help the 4 blade stay hooked up during water sports. Can anyone with experience let me know if a .5” spacer would make much of a difference or if I should go straight to a 1” spacer?
