I installed a used prop shaft in my bravo one x today but we noticed that the bearing on this shaft was alot bigger! It came with gold billet bearing carrier and the bearing matched up with it. It seemed to fit well axcept it had alot of play! so we removed it and we notice there was no spacer between the bearing and the shaft so we removed the spacer from old broke shaft and installed it on the imco? it went together great or so it seems! but not sure why one shaft had a spacer and the other one didn't???

now if you tighten the prop down the prop scrapes the retainer nut?

HEy pagerboy, I think your problem is when installing a imco shaft into a bravo lower you have to remove the crush ring and use shims! I think the will fix it up!
