I'm the factory rep for Konrad's High Performance division.

-Got involved with Konrad initially as a customer, summer 2003 I blew 6 TRS drives on my Top Gun Cigarette (750's), installed Konrad 540's spring 2004 and solved the drive issues. I went to work full time for Konrad spring 2005

The boat presently had 460 hrs on the Konrad 540'S no issues.

Feel free to give me a shout or drop me an email,

Kurt

I replaced my TRS with a Konrad 540 and love it. I don't have to worry anymore about breaking a drive anymore. The people at Konrad are great to work with. I bought my Konrad from a dealer that went out of business and it was a left hand drive and i wanted a right hand drive. Pete at Konrad took care of me. Doller offshore in Ft Lauderdale has installed alot Konrad outdrives on different boats. Mac and Mindi at Doller offshore are good people and Doller is a great company that has been around along time. Kurt (Biggus) was also very helpful with questions and prop selections for my boat.

Mine look really nice sitting in the box that they came in! In all seriousness, call or email Biggus, he can tell you all about them. Plus, he has first hand experience on his own personal boat, great guy!

800,s on mine for about 5 years now. Konrad has been great to me. Took a lot of experimenting to get the height right, and then the right props. Kurt is great to work with.

My engine dynoed at 719 HP. In my opinion the Konrad drive is bullet proof if you do the normal serive on it and treat it well. I am planning to up the HP over the winter to somewhere in the 800's. The dyno hurt my feeling this year.

My buddy runs the 540's on his race fountain with 750 ish HP and loves them. I just had a chance to take a good look at them and they are a very nice piece for sure.
