Default Turning prop on Bravo 1 right and left with hand backlash sond

I just want to know if it is normal that i seem to have a litle free play when i turn the prop right and left ? I can hear a sond (click) when i turn it right and left like a free play in the gear or in a coupler???? The drive is a Bravo 1.

Does it is normal or not????

Thanks in advence for the info!!!

Could be the upper vertical shaft moving up and down, as you change direction. Find another boat at the launch and try that one. I bet you will find it the same as yours. Rocking the prop back and forth isnt a good way to tell what is going on inside.

Hope that helps.

I dont know if it is normal or not but my friends and my bravo 1 both make a sound when i turn the prop back and forth. just like a backlash sound in the gears.
