Default Bravo 1 to Imco shorty conversion

Will standard Bravo 1 parts work in an Imco lower housing or do they have to be XR parts?

Thanks

You can use most of your internals but you will need a vert shaft, cav plate and some new bearings. If you have questions or need the parts to do the conversion give me a call I can help you out. 989-464-5531 Rob

To insure the best performance/reliability in your new lower, give Aaron a call at Max Machine Worx. They are sending me the parts to do precisely what you are doing.
If you are trying to fill your IMCO lower with the least expensive parts, don't call.

Just happen to have an extra bravo lower laying around and was wanting to try out a shorty to see if it would pick my boat up any before I spent ANOTHER couple grand.

I did just that, bought a 2'' shortie it came with shaft and cav plate. paid 500 plus bearings to swap it over. it was a 2'' shortie run behind my ol24 650hp. a friend has 900 plus hp in a 31 sutphen single with a xr with max worx guts and a shortie. its holding up.
