i run the same drive with a ss prop and close to 500 hp and never a problem ,alot of donzi guys run them,

I ran a the 290 DP on a 26foot boat 383 blower motor had it 20years never went wrong apart from a ram leaking i am sure you can change your lower for the duo setup ,the pullaway and handling on my boat was fantastic . i ran the S/S props it would leave the same boat with single prop dead in the water .
