Default Bravo XZ Help
I have 2004 XZ drives and the tops never last. Can I put a brand new complete from Merc XR upper drive on an XZ lower and bolt them on? I have heard some say the gimble bearing would have to be changed too. Any help would be great.

Yes, will bolt right on. You already have the corect gimbal bearing.

Check out Victory Marine reman prices for XR upper or keep checking swap shop, lots of XR's for sell here and there.

Scott was very helpful explaining all the options of upper and lowers. They built me a 1X for my HP500.
