just a lil more info for ya. my Motor on the dyno made 568 peak at 5400. I currently have a 24 pitch bravo prop that has been worked with alot more cup. and i can spin it to about 53-5400 and it runs 70mph. i thought id have been able to spin it much higher, but i guess the hull design has alot to do with that. Seen alot of boats with less power than mine run faster. Good luck with the setup. I have several friends that are big with the LS motors and have considred if my my motor ever really granades that would be a real good idea. Personally i think id have to stroke it. since tq is more needed than top end hp in a boat. Trying to make too much hp at a high rpm wont give you the results your looking for. Keep us posted and id love to see pics once ya get it done.

Your Z06 cluster likely won't work since it's driven off of a CAN body control module, and you will likely be using an 0411 PCM to run your engine...they won't communicate. My advice is to ebay the cluster and get some decent aftermarket gauges, or find a BCM and cluster from a C5 or an earlier pickup or F-body.
