Default Removing transom assembly

I took my motors out, and my lower units. Now I want to remove the transom assembly. They are stuck to my transom. How do I pry them off without breaking them. I was taking my time and working my way around little by little and I already cracked one.

If you cracked the inner plate that is common. They are pretty cheap to replace. It would be hard to crack the outside assembly. I always have pushed them out from the inside once the inner plate is off with my foot. You need to take the intake gooseneck off and make sure you have all the nuts and 2 long through bolts removed.

Try moving the inner plate out of the way and unscrew the studs from the transom plate, they get corroded the in the transom. This may make it easier to get outer plate off
