Replacing gimbal ring on alpha one. Any special tools????

A long all thread with a large thick spacer/washer on back side of bearing, then thru a 4x4 held against the bell housing. Just screw it out. Or try a large slid hammer. I used the all thread with excellent results and minimal effort. Watch a mechanic to our marine use a large slid hammer to pull one out. Bugger was stuck! Boat was slowly moving backwards with each whack.

Like said before there is some cheap tricks to getting the job done. Sometimes it takes alot longer without the right tools though. I know some mechanics that have my bearing puller that have pulled some real old bearings. If your looking for some tools I give fellow OSO members 15% off if I invoice them straight thru Paypal.
I should start a loaner program.
You can see my tools on my link or shoot me a message.
