Default Bravo coupler

Just bought a set a couplers, for a bravo drive they showed up today. They are the kind that bolt to the center of the fly wheel with studs that hold the coupler and flywheel on.ARE they really for a bravo.I never seen theses on a bravo big block boat.I have seen them on a alpha and a bravo small block boat.I called the man I got them from and was told they came of of 502's.I believe him, and we agreed on a solution but NOW I want to know for sure what this type actually is,I could be all wrong, and If so I can accept that SOME ONE give me the application of these couplers. They are 4 7/8"in dia. Thanks JOHN SR

John
the coupler you describe sounds like the one used on the early drives .
not intended for H.P. engines .
can you post a pic??

Never seen a Bravo coupler like that and I would never install a used coupler anyway.

The guy is giving it to you on the chin,,those are older mr couplers...could have come off of 502's but for a omc king cobra or volvo penta sx drive but definitely no a bravo coupler..

if they are dark grey then they came off of a omc and are for a king cobra drive..
