Default XR vs. standard bravo... hot to tell the difference?

How do you tell the difference between a standard bravo and an XR drive?? Assuming the stickers are off the drive or have been replaced....

Thanks in advance!!

Plenty of regular Bravos have low water pickups.

The only good way to tell is to pull the back or top cap and look at the gears. The XR will have straight cut teeth. While the helical will have a curve to them and be thinner.
If you pull the back cap, you will have to drain some lube. If you remove the top cap, you wont have to drain any. Just make sure you keep it all clean.
Hope that helps.
