Default XR Sportmaster/drive oil

Have one drive that is pushing the drive oil back out of the reservoir. Replaced the cap but it did not help. Anybody know why this is happening, and how to fix the problem. Thanks Howard

More than likely you have a bearing getting hot and the oil is expanding to much do to the added heat.

The drive was not hot after we pull the boat out and the oil is not burned, but I will check out the bearings. Thanks Howard

Just asking was ur drive resealed or worked on internally? We had one just recently doing the same. Whomever put it back together set the rolling torque values in the upper too much. After resetting them to proper spec the problem was solved. Also will agree about bearing problems as this also can increase rolling torque values .
