If you live locally I have removed them from my boat a few times so that others can TRY them out.

Are these the speedmaster style? I'm running a B1 with a nose cone now. I hardly need any trim to run 90 but it gets a little squirrelly at times and I think a shorter drive will help. I'm an east sider but I'm out your way at least every other week.

I think those velocities have a high X from the builder. If you don't have to trim much then a shortie probably won't help. you might try some different props. My drives are IMCO bravo style.

My lowers may be for sale soon.
One of them will be getting rebuilt next week.
I may be buying -3 inch lowers soon.
Putting them on others boats was for free. That and a boat ride.

Thats cool Tinkerer that you do that for people! I think Imco should take note here and offer a test program similar to Bblades test props. If they take money for someone to try out a drive/ shorty lower with a cc for damage deposit, people could try em out and Im sure if they like, they would buy. Would also give them some used/ rebuilt units to sell to people that they would probably never sell to new. Just sayin.
